Haad Salad is one of Koh Phangan's most distinctive beaches, known for both its natural beauty and its historical tales. Legend has it that this area was once a haven for pirates who preyed on passing merchant ships, hence the name "Haad Salad" (Salad Beach).

Today, Haad Salad has transformed into a perfect relaxation destination. Its beach stretches for approximately 800 meters, forming a horseshoe-shaped bay surrounded by lush green hills that shelter it from the wind. This results in calm, clear waters throughout the year, making it ideal for swimming, especially for families with young children.

A key highlight is the shallow coral reef located just about 150 meters from the shore. Tourists can simply walk from the beach and swim a short distance to discover an underwater world teeming with coral and colorful fish. It's considered one of the most accessible snorkeling spots on Koh Phangan.

• By Car/Motorbike: From Thong Sala Pier, head north along the coastal road, passing Hin Kong Beach and Sri Thanu. The road is paved with concrete throughout and is easily accessible. The distance is approximately 12 kilometers, taking 20–25 minutes.

• Best Time for Snorkeling: Morning to noon, when sunlight helps to see the coral colors clearly.

• Sunset Dinner: It's recommended to reserve a table by the beach around 5:30 PM.
