“A long, wide, curved beach with calm, clear waters perfect for swimming and kayaking, surrounded by lush green mountains in a peaceful atmosphere.”
Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach is the second most popular beach after Haad Rin, and is considered the longest and widest beach on the east side of the island. The beach stretches in a crescent-shaped bay with calm waves almost all year round, perfect for swimming, playing in the water, or kayaking all year round.
Serenity and Local Life:
Thong Nai Pan Beach is divided into two parts: Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach and Thong Nai Pan Noi Beach. Yai Beach is larger and more popular with tourists. The area is surrounded by bungalows and small resorts that blend in with nature, as well as local restaurants that offer a friendly atmosphere, like relaxing in a quiet fishing village.
Nature and Adventure Activities:
The area around the beach consists of lush tropical forests and not-too-high mountains, making it ideal for hiking, studying nature, and admiring the diversity of plants and animals. The beach also has nearby hiking trails and waterfalls for tourists who enjoy outdoor activities. Tourists also enjoy kayaking to explore the cliffs or walking across the hill to Thong Nai Pan Noi Beach to experience a different atmosphere.
Popular with Thais and Foreigners:
Thong Nai Pan Yai Beach is popular with both Thai and foreign tourists, with its beautiful beach, clear water, peaceful atmosphere, and variety of activities, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway to recharge from nature all day long.
