“A unique beach characterized by a steep stone staircase leading to a private bay, offering panoramic views of Koh Larn and situated near the most famous sunset dining spots in South Pattaya.”
Cosy Beach a small beach located at the base of Pratumnak Hill, at the connection point between South Pattaya and Jomtien Beach. Although the beach is not very long, it stands out as a hidden gem that offers a high sense of privacy. The geography is surrounded by steep cliffs, cutting it off from the main roads and the noise above, providing a luxurious and peaceful view like a private bay in a five-star resort.
A key physical highlight is the steep stone staircase that stretches from the cliff down to the sand. This spot is a prime location for viewing a panoramic vista of Koh Larn clearly from an elevated angle. The area on top of the cliff is also a strategic location for landmark restaurants and cafes, such as The Sky Gallery and Three Mermaids, where tourists can relax and enjoy a Bird's eye view of the beach beautifully.
Regarding activities and area usage, Cosy Beach is perfect for Kayaking and SUP Boarding because the natural rocks help block the wind and waves, making the water calm and clearer than at Central Pattaya Beach. The beachfront area remains shaded by the trees along the cliffside all day. Additionally, it serves as a pickup point for speedboats for those who want to travel to nearby islands without going through the chaos of the main pier.
This area has a special charm for landscape photographers due to the elements of the cliffs, rocks, and the staircase that create great dimensions for photos. For sports enthusiasts or active travelers, the steepness of the path and going down to touch nature below is a worthwhile experience. It is also a popular beach for foreigners to bring their pets for a walk in a friendly atmosphere.
