A-FACTORY is located on the coast north of Aomori Station in a warehouse-like building. This is an apple juice factory, which is the origin of the factory's name, supported by JR East Railway to promote the distribution of local products nationwide, in line with the expansion of the Shinkansen to Aomori and the opening of the new Shin-Aomori Station on December 4, 2010.

More than just a factory outlet, this factory is also a tourist attraction. We can watch the production process of various kinds of apple juice through large windows, and we can buy freshly-packed products.

The apple juice, or cidre, produced in various alcoholic strengths, from 3% (sweet), 5% (standard), 7% (dry), and non-alcoholic (apple soda), suitable for a driver or a child.

The apples used in the production process are huge, carefully picked Fuji and Jonathan apples grown in Aomori Prefecture orchards. They are regarded a well-known agricultural product of the prefecture and have been called "Apple Kingdom"

A-Factory is also a place to buy many local products of the prefecture, such as fresh vegetables and fruits, processed agricultural and marine products, sweets, chocolate, as well as famous apple liquor, wine and sake from producers in various cities of the prefecture, to buy as impressive souvenirs that are like no other from Japan.

There are also restaurants where you can enjoy the taste of seasonal ingredients of the prefecture, such as sushi, sashimi, raw fish rice bowls, stir-fried dishes, and even pizza. Finally, there are some lovely desserts and baked items to eat.
