Futamitsuri Bridge (Futami Suspension Bridge) is a famous landmark renowned for its breathtaking natural scenery and unique cultural history, serving as a primary attraction in the Jozankei Onsen area, Sapporo's secluded hot spring retreat.

While the exact construction date of the current red bridge is recent, the gorge itself has been revered for centuries. It is central to the local legend of the Kappa, a playful river sprite, which is honored throughout Jozankei. The name "Kappa Pool" or Kappabuchi refers to the deep eddy in the river where the sprite is said to dwell.
