“This local station is close to Onuma National Park and nearby restaurants and a small village can be founded. There are a snow festival held at the national park during begining to middle of February ever year.”
Onumakoen Station The station first opened on June 5, 1907 as a Ōnuma-Kōen (kari-teishajō) stop for passengers on the existing Hokkaido Railway line. Please be reminded that the opening and closing dates would be announced at the station from time to time.
From Hakodate Station, Onuma Koen Station can be reached in approximately 45 minutes by limited express train (1270 yen for unreserved seats) or within 1 hour by local train (640 yen). Most limited express trains from Hakodate. Going to Sapporo will stop at Onumakoen Station.
