Jozankei Dam is a significant structure known for its dual role in infrastructure and tourism in Hokkaido, Japan. It is one of Sapporo’s primary water sources and a spectacular nature viewing area.

• On Foot: It is a 25-minute walk from the Jozankei-Ohashi bus stop.

• The best time to visit is during the autumn season (early to mid-October) for the most spectacular foliage.

• Access to the dam and museum is generally restricted outside of the main season (Mid-May to Late October) due to heavy snow.
