Nabana no Sato, part of Nagashima Resort near Nagoya, is renowned for its stunning light displays and seasonal flowers, drawing thousands of visitors annually.
Winter Illumination:
Held every year from October to May, featuring over 8 million LED lights across tunnels and themed areas such as "Sea of Clouds" and "Forest of Light." The highlight is the giant Tunnel of Light, over 200 meters long, one of the largest in the world, along with the Main Area Illumination with a new theme each year.
Seasonal flowers and gardens:
The Begonia Garden greenhouse showcases more than 12,000 flower varieties year-round. Seasonal flower fields include cherry blossoms, tulips, roses, hydrangeas, and sunflowers, with peak beauty in spring during sakura bloom.
Other facilities and attractions:
Visitors can enjoy Sato no Yu hot springs, a small petting zoo, and multiple restaurants, including Nagashima Beer Restaurant serving local brews.
How to Get There

Bus: Direct bus from Meitetsu Bus Center (near Nagoya Station) to Nabana no Sato, approx. 35–40 minutes.

Train: Take the Kintetsu Line to Kuwana or Nagashima Station, then transfer to a local bus.
Travel Tips
- Plan visits during Winter Illumination, especially during Christmas and New Year when advance tickets are required. Wear comfortable shoes for walking through the garden and the Tunnel of Light.
