The Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque is known as the Blue Mosque due to its blue dome. It is a very important religious site. And is beautiful as well, And the mosque has the distinction of having the largest religious dome in the world.It has a diameter of 51.2 meters and a height_ of 106.7 meters above ground level. The design of the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Mosque is a combination of Malay and modern styles and elements of Malay and Islamic architecture that will blend together, making it uniquely beautiful and very distinctive.
It is also a place to display Islamic art as well. Inspired by the Garden of the Quran, this 14-hectare spiritual sanctuary houses nine galleries showcasing a wide range of Islamic art such as calligraphy, sculpture, painting and architecture.
