“A 280-meter-long elevated walkway with 360-degree views of the Chao Phraya River and historic Bangkok landmarks.”
Chao Phraya Sky Park is Thailand’s first elevated public park, transformed from an old railway bridge that once belonged to the State Railway of Thailand. Officially opened in 2020, it provides a scenic walkway above the Chao Phraya River, connecting the Phra Nakhon side (near Pak Khlong Talad) with Thonburi (near Phra Pok Klao Bridge).
The park is approximately 280 meters long and 8.5 meters wide, designed as a multi-use green space. It offers jogging paths, benches, landscaped gardens, and spectacular panoramic views of the Chao Phraya River and nearby landmarks such as Wat Arun, the Memorial Bridge, and the Royal Pavilion of Santichaiprakarn.
The park combines modern design with the historical atmosphere of old Bangkok. Whether you are a photographer, a fitness enthusiast, or a casual visitor, Chao Phraya Sky Park is an ideal place to relax and appreciate the city’s riverside charm from a unique perspective.
