Kho Khao Beach is a quiet and naturally rich beach located in Na Phaya Subdistrict, Lang Suan District, Chumphon Province. The beach features long stretches of fine white sand and clear blue water, perfect for swimming, relaxing, or taking a scenic walk along the shore. The beach area is home to several important landmarks, most notably the Prince of Chumphon Shrine, built on a full-scale replica of the HTMS Chon Talay battleship. This monument honors the Father of the Royal Thai Navy. The replica holds significant historical meaning, as the original vessel was involved in transporting the Prince’s royal remains from Hat Sai Ri to the Grand Palace.

Not far from the shrine lies Wat Kho Khao (Wat Thepnimit), a temple situated on a small seaside hill. The temple is known for its rare and symbolic Guanyin Bodhisattva statue seated on a frog, a unique depiction in Buddhist art. At the top of the hill stands a large Standing Buddha in the Blessing posture, visible from afar. This viewpoint offers a stunning panoramic view of Kho Khao Beach and the coastline stretching into the horizon.

• By public transportation: Take a train or bus to Lang Suan Station. From there, hire a motorcycle taxi or take a shared songthaew to Kho Khao Beach.
