Koh Pakka more commonly known and grouped by travelers as "Koh Pakbia," is a small but stunning island situated north of Koh Hong within the boundaries of Than Bok Khorani National Park, Krabi. Geologically, the island is characterized by towering limestone formations rising dramatically from the Andaman Sea. It functions as a "twin island" linked by a natural sandbar, or tombolo, which reveals itself prominently during low tide. This white, powdery sand bridge creates a breathtaking walkway connecting the rocky outcrops and lush greenery, allowing visitors to walk between the islets surrounded by crystal-clear turquoise waters that teem with small tropical fish near the shore.

The overall atmosphere of Koh Pakka is significantly more serene and private than the neighboring Koh Hong. Because the beach area is relatively small and there are no permanent structures, restaurants, or commercial facilities, the island has managed to preserve its raw, untouched charm. Visitors typically spend their time strolling along the sandbar to capture panoramic photographs of the Krabi coastline or relaxing under the natural canopy of sea almond trees and coastal flora that cling to the limestone cliffs. On days when the sea is calm and visibility is high, the shallow waters around the island offer opportunities for snorkeling, where small coral formations and sea fans can be spotted just a few meters from the beach.

Beyond its visual appeal, Koh Pakka serves as a strategic natural rest stop on the Hong Islands boat route. Its location, nestled between the mainland and the outer islands, often provides a sheltered environment where the waters remain calmer than more exposed sites. However, as it is part of a fragile national park ecosystem, strict conservation rules apply. Visitors are required to adhere to sustainable tourism practices, such as the prohibition of fish feeding and a strict "carry-in, carry-out" trash policy.
