Somdet Phra Sangharaja Yan Sangwon Bridge (Kanchanaburi Skywalk), commonly known as “Kanchanaburi Skywalk,” is a riverside development project in the heart of Kanchanaburi designed to enhance tourism and create a modern public space that allows visitors to experience the riverside scenery up close. The main concept of the project is to offer visitors a unique experience of “walking above the river” and appreciating nature from a new perspective.The structure is built with high-strength steel designed to safely support a large number of visitors each day. The walkway is made of multi-layer tempered laminated glass, which is highly resistant to impact and load while allowing clear visibility of the river flowing beneath, creating an exciting and immersive viewing experience unlike traditional viewpoints.

In terms of landscape, the skywalk is located at the confluence of several rivers, a distinctive feature of Kanchanaburi, creating the well-known “two-tone river” phenomenon formed by merging water currents.
