“The pink sand, created by the mixture of tiny red corals and white sand, contrasts beautifully with the clear blue ocean and green hills, making it a unique destination for nature lovers and photographers”

Pink Beach or locally known as Pantai Merah (Red Beach) is one of the seven most famous pink sand beaches in the world. It is located on the eastern side of Komodo Island in Indonesia. The sand's astonishing pink hue originates from broken fragments of red coral named Foraminifera which mix with the white sand grains, creating a soft and miraculous shade

The uniqueness of Pink Beach is not limited to the sand's color it is also an integral part of Komodo National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area surrounding the beach is an exceptionally rich spot for snorkeling and diving, boasting abundant coral reefs and being home to a wide variety of marine life, offering a breathtaking underwater experience for explorers. The atmosphere at Pink Beach is quiet and private as it is only accessible by boat.
