“The unique landscape of Padar Island is the sweeping panorama of multiple bays and three distinctively colored beaches White, Pink, Black visible from the hilltop viewpoint”

Padar Island is part of the Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located in the West Manggarai region of Indonesia. The main attraction is the viewpoint where you can simultaneously see three differently colored beaches Pink, White, and Black. Hiking to the summit is the main activity here.

Padar Island is renowned for its stunning geological landscapes and rich natural diversity. The scenery features steep hills and winding bays. Its pink beaches are formed from tiny red coral fragments (Foraminifera) mixed with white sand. The island’s unique vistas, particularly the aerial view showing its claw-like shape, have made it a world-famous photography spot.

The main activity is hiking to the main viewpoint, which takes approximately 30-45 minutes. The atmosphere during the early morning and late afternoon is the most popular because the sunrise and sunset light illuminates the mountains and bays, creating impressive golden hues and shadows. Tours here are often day trips included in the broader Komodo National Park itinerary.

Padar Island attracts photographers from around the world to capture its stunning scenery and is a popular spot for couples seeking the romanticism of the vast landscape. For travelers seeking pristine nature and views found nowhere else, Padar Island is the answer. We invite you to experience the majesty and beauty of nature on Padar Island with your own eyes.
