“Taman Safari Bogor is recognized for its unique Safari Drive-Through experience, which allows you to feed and view diverse species up close from within your vehicle, and is home to the Istana Panda, hosting Indonesia's only pair of Giant Pandas.”

Taman Safari Indonesia Bogor Branch is one of the largest and best safari zoos in the world. It is located in the Puncak area of Bogor, on the slopes of Mount Gede-Pangrango, where the weather is cool and surrounded by lush tropical rainforest. Covering more than 170 hectares, the park is home to over 7,000 animals representing more than 300 species from around the globe. It is designed as a conservation area, a recreational destination, and a wildlife education center.

The main highlight here is the drive-through safari experience, where visitors can drive their own vehicles through open areas where animals roam freely without cages. You can even feed friendly animals—such as zebras, camels, and deer—with carrots or bananas you bring along. The drive takes you through various themed zones such as the African animal zone, the bear zone, and the tiger and lion zone, all safely separated. There is also the Istana Panda (Panda Palace), which houses the only pair of giant pandas in Indonesia, designed to resemble their natural habitat in China.

Beyond the safari zone, the park offers many other attractions such as the Baby Zoo, where visitors can get up close to young animals and take photos with selected species; Aquatic Land; and an amusement park with various rides. There are also impressive animal shows, including an elephant show, dolphin show, and cowboy performance, making this a destination suitable for all ages especially families with children who can learn about wildlife in an enjoyable way.

Visitors can choose between Safari Siang (Day Safari) or Safari Malam (Night Safari) on weekends. A daytime visit allows you to clearly see the animals and enjoy all activities, while the nighttime safari done on a special tram offers a thrilling and mysterious experience as nocturnal predators become active under the darkness. With its wide variety of animals and strong focus on conservation, this safari park is truly a destination not to be missed.
