“The highlight of this garden is the fountain show that dances to the beat of music and colorful lights at night, creating a mesmerizing atmosphere and a beautiful photo spot.”
Naypyidaw Water Fountain Park is a large public project commissioned by the government, covering an area of 165 acres (approximately 412 rai). Located in the heart of Naypyidaw's Hotel and Convention Center (MICC), the park is designed as a large green space and a major recreational area for the city. It features a variety of features and activities, including:
-
Main Lake and Suspension Bridge: The park features a large artificial pond or lake, housing a musical fountain system in the center. The lake is also spanned by a suspension bridge, allowing visitors to stroll through the park and take 360-degree photos.
-
Fountains and Lighting: The complex fountain system is a highlight. The evening show, called the "Musical Fountain Show," combines jets of water, pulsing to the beat of music, with colorful LED lighting, creating a stunning visual spectacle that draws many visitors.
-
Family and Children Area: The park features dedicated family areas, including a playground with standard play equipment and a relaxation zone (including a water slide during festivals, but check for availability).
-
Sculpture and Flora Garden: The park features displays and exhibits. The Sculpture Garden and its beautifully landscaped grounds, featuring a diverse range of plants and flowers, make this a perfect place for a stroll, pre-wedding photoshoot, or a quiet afternoon.
-
Activity and Picnic Area: With its spacious grounds, this garden is ideal for outdoor activities, festivals, or as a picnic spot for families and friends. Visitors often bring their own mats to relax and enjoy the evening fountain show.
How to Get There
