The Philippine Eagle Center, located in Malagos, Davao City, is the largest facility in the world dedicated to the conservation and research of the critically endangered Philippine Eagle. Its mission is to protect and increase the population of this rare species.
Visitors can walk through aviaries and natural habitats designed to resemble the eagle’s environment. Main activities include observing feeding sessions, studying eagle behavior, and learning about breeding programs and conservation efforts.
Besides the Philippine Eagle, the center is home to other rare wildlife such as monkeys, wild cats, and various bird species. Educational programs are available to teach visitors about the importance of wildlife preservation.
