Manila Ocean Park combines learning and entertainment. It holds the distinction of being the first world-class marine theme park in the Philippines, strategically located behind the Quirino Grandstand in the historical Rizal Park complex.
The main attraction is the Oceanarium, where visitors can walk through the 25-meter-long, 220-degree curved acrylic walkway tunnel, which is the longest in the country, allowing observation of thousands of marine species swimming directly overhead.
The aquarium features multiple zones, including displays of freshwater and saltwater fish, sharks, rays, and sea lions, offering a close-up understanding of marine ecosystems. The park expands beyond marine life with unique exhibits such as the mesmerizing Jellies Exhibit (illuminated jellyfish) and the Birds of Prey Kingdom.
The park also hosts popular attractions like sea lion shows and other water performances, especially appealing to children and families. Educational workshops and environmental programs are strongly emphasized, reflecting the park's focus on marine conservation and research.
Additionally, there is a touch pool where visitors can safely interact with marine animals like starfish and sea urchins under staff supervision. A unique feature is the adjacent Hotel H2O, which offers rooms designed with simulated aquarium views, allowing for an immersive overnight stay.
The surrounding area has restaurants, souvenir shops, and rest areas, providing a complete family-friendly experience of learning and entertainment.
