“Expansive seaside park with gardens, amusement rides, the largest resort pool in western Japan, and an adjacent aquarium.”

Uminonakamichi Seaside Park is a sprawling public park and resort located on a narrow sand peninsula between Hakata Bay and the Genkai Sea. The area was originally a Japanese and later a U.S. military base before its transformation into a public park in 1972.
