“Rabbit Island offers a simple, traditional getaway on a peaceful sandy beach with shallow, clear waters, where visitors can enjoy famous fresh seafood, especially Kep Crab, in a relaxed atmosphere.”

Koh Tonsay is locally known as Rabbit Island due to its alleged shape and is located about 4.5 kilometers off the coast of Kep City. It is one of the few islands that has successfully maintained its pristine, simple character. The island is small, with only one main beach stretching about 250 meters.

The island's charm lies in its simple, laid-back way of life. The few local fishing families who live here run basic restaurants and modest bungalows (made of bamboo and thatch) for tourists. Electricity is limited (available only for 4-6 hours in the evening), and there is no Wi-Fi, making it an excellent destination for a "digital detox."

Key activities on the island include relaxing in a hammock, swimming in the clear, shallow waters, and taking a leisurely walk around the island (which takes about 1.5 - 2 hours). Visitors can enjoy fresh seafood, especially the famous Kep Crab, cooked and served directly from the beachside restaurant huts.

If you are looking for a tropical paradise that has not been overrun by commercial development, Rabbit Island is the answer for an authentic experience of the Cambodian coast.
