Restaurant Ranpusya (洋灯舎) is a well-known Western-style restaurant located directly beside Lake Kinrin, one of Yufuin’s most iconic attractions. Although it is attached to Pension Toyonokuni, the restaurant is open to both accommodation guests and the general public for lunch and dinner.

The interior features a warm, classic European-style design that creates a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Window-side counter seats offer uninterrupted views of the lake, making them especially popular during autumn or early mornings when gentle mist rises from the water.

The signature dish is the Bungo Beef Hamburg Steak, celebrated for its juicy texture and rich sauces such as demi-glace or tomato. Other favorites include fluffy omurice, crispy fried shrimp, and the restaurant’s homemade natural yeast bread, with the potato bread being a particular highlight.
