“A dramatic rocky shoreline stretching into the sea, offering wide panoramic sunset views in a quiet, natural setting.”
Chai Chet Cape is a natural rocky headland located on the west coast of Koh Chang. It features large rock formations and flat stone platforms extending into the Gulf of Thailand, visually separating the areas between Klong Prao Beach and White Sand Beach. Unlike typical sandy beaches, this cape stands out with its rugged textures and striking contrast between dark rocks and deep blue sea.
The area remains relatively quiet and less crowded, making it ideal for relaxation, photography, and enjoying nature. During sunset, golden light reflects beautifully off the rocks and water, creating a dramatic and romantic atmosphere. It is also a favorite spot for landscape photographers and local anglers due to its open views and layered coastal composition.
Access: Most routes to the cape require passing through Chai Chet Resort, followed by a short walk along the shoreline to reach the rocky viewpoint. Knowing this in advance helps avoid confusion when navigating.
How to Get There
Drive along the west coast road of Koh Chang toward Chai Chet Beach, located between White Sand Beach and Klong Prao Beach. Turn into Chai Chet Resort, continue to the end of the access road, then walk along the shoreline toward the cape.
