The Viharn

The Viharn at Wat Phra That Chom Ping is a central component of the ancient site, standing alongside the sacred stupa. It features Lanna-style architecture, characterized by its spacious interior and beautifully multi-tiered, sloping roofs. The structure reflects a blend of local craftsmanship and various restoration efforts, most notably during the revival period led by Kruba Srivichai. The interior houses the principal Buddha image and serves as the primary space for community religious ceremonies, symbolizing the continuity of faith from the Lanna Kingdom to the present day.
