The Buddha is seated in a cross-legged position under the canopy of a seven-headed Naga, symbolizing protection from harm according to Buddhist history. It stands majestically on a laterite stone base at the edge of the natural cave, alongside statues of revered masters, amidst the serene atmosphere of the Phra Phuttha Saiyasana Cave in Sakon Nakhon Province.
