Muak Lek Arboretum is a sanctuary for a vast collection of precious flora. The highlight is the Red Pradu (Monkey Flower Tree), which explodes in vibrant crimson blooms in early January and February. Adjacent to it are the Thong Kwao (Bastard Teak) and Suphannika (Yellow Silk Cotton Tree), both displaying their bright orange and yellow flowers by the waterfall. The garden is thoughtfully divided into zones for different plant categories, including flora from classical literature, plants from Buddhist history, and various rare medicinal herbs, all carefully preserved beneath the ancient trees that remain from the once-extensive Dong Phaya Yen forest. Visitors can enjoy the waterfall's refreshing mist while expanding their botanical knowledge, thanks to the well-labeled flowering plants and ornamental shrubs that line the tranquil walking paths throughout the park.
