The trees

The "trees" in this area are ancient, towering giants that have stood for generations. They are of tremendous historical importance, especially the indigenous species that cling to the cliff edges and line the stream banks, acting as natural barriers against soil erosion while providing year-round shade. Notable species include the wide-branching Red Pradu and the majestic "Yang Na trees" that have stood the test of time. These are interspersed with rare plants, carefully gathered by the arboretum for conservation and education. The atmosphere beneath this verdant canopy offers cool respite and fresh air, reflecting the richness of the Dong Phaya Yen forest ecosystem, meticulously preserved through the ages.
