Thonburi Palace, also known as "Phra Racha Wang Derm," was the only royal palace of King Taksin the Great. Its key strategic location next to Wichai Prasit Fort served as both a royal residence and a command center. The interior architecture is simple yet mystical, featuring the Throne Hall, a traditional Thai building with a triple-gabled roof. Today, the Royal Thai Navy cares for the area, which has been restored as a highly valuable historical memorial.
