The Throne Hall of the original palace is one of the oldest and most significant Thai-style buildings from the Thonburi period. The structure consists of two interconnected halls—the North and South halls—which were used for royal audiences and state affairs. The architectural design is simple yet sturdy, reflecting the atmosphere of a nation-building era where defense was a constant priority. Today, it perfectly preserves the beauty of Thonburi-era art and continues to serve as a venue for important Royal Thai Navy ceremonies.
