Kojindo

Kojindo refers to a hall or temple dedicated to Sanbō Kōjin, the Japanese deity of fire, the hearth, and the kitchen. This deity is a syncretic figure in Buddhism and Shinto, known as the guardian of the "Three Jewels" (Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha). In daily life, he is worshipped to protect homes from fire and purify impurities.
