The Architectural Layout
As a rare Shoin-zukuri survivor, the ground plot emphasizes a horizontal flow. Centered on a massive Genkan (entrance), the floor plan features interconnected Tatami rooms and wide Nightingale corridors wrapping around hidden inner gardens. This layout prioritized ceremonial prestige while maintaining a compact, defensive footprint within the castle's inner sanctum.
