This boulder Golden Rock located at Bago Region was once said that it is miracolously because The gravity defying boulder is thought to be imbued with celestial properties by a holy hair relic of the Buddha.

The boulder sits on a natural rock platform that appears to have been naturally formed to act as the base to build the pagoda. This granite boulder lies on an inclined plane and the area of contact is extremely small.

Buses from Kinpun to Yangon leave from the bus station close to the truck stop and run until at least 2 pm. The fare is 7000K Myanmar currency.
The first bus leaves at 6.30 am and then go at hourly intervals until 2.30 pm maybe later in high season. The fare is 8000K Myanmar currency and the trip takes approximately 5 hours.
