“Nam Tok Khing is an easily accessible waterfall located along the main road in the park, ideal for stopping to rest and swim.”

Nam Tok Khing is part of the Phrae River, flowing over mountainous terrain. It has a height_ of approximately 5 meters and a width_ of about 25 meters. The water cascades over rocks, forming 2–3 tiers, creating large pools and a shaded, serene environment suitable for resting and safe swimming.

The surrounding area is dense montane rainforest with a wide variety of plants, including large trees, ferns, mosses, and climbing plants, which help maintain humidity and a rich ecosystem. Visitors may spot forest birds, butterflies, and small aquatic animals, making this an important site for birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts.

Nam Tok Khing also has historical significance, as a pavilion was built here in honor of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn in 1991 (B.E. 2534), reflecting the area’s importance both naturally and culturally.

The best visiting season is during the rainy months (July–September) when the waterfall has the highest water flow and is particularly beautiful, with cool and comfortable weather. In the winter, the waterfall still flows, making it a year-round resting and sightseeing spot.

Nam Tok Khing can be combined with other waterfalls along the Phrae River, such as Nam Tok Chang Tok and Nam Tok Wang Tat, allowing visitors to plan multiple waterfall trips in one day.

The waterfall is conveniently located along the main road of the park, allowing visitors to stop, swim, and take photos without trekking deep into the forest, though caution is advised due to slippery rocks, especially during high water.

Nam Tok Khing is suitable for all ages to enjoy nature, experience the river and forest environment, and is perfect for family outings, picnics, and light adventure.
