In terms of scenery, Pak Nam Tapi is a wide river offering panoramic views, especially in the evening when the sunset reflects golden on the water, combined with the image of fishing boats gradually returning to shore, becoming a beautiful memory of Surat Thani.

The riverside area has been developed into a lifestyle tourism and recreation destination with many riverside walkways, seafood restaurants, and cafes, especially the "Lamphu" restaurant group that extends out into the river, providing a dining atmosphere close to nature.

You can also connect to nearby attractions such as Khlong Roi Sai and Koh Lamphu, which offer boat trips to see fireflies at night, adding both day and night tourism experiences in one area.

• By car/motorcycle: From the city pillar shrine or the Tapi River embankment, drive along Pak Nam Road (Highway 4008) heading east for about 10–15 minutes to reach the Pak Nam Tapi area. There is parking along the restaurant area.

• You should arrive around 5:00 PM – 5:30 PM to choose a seat by the river and watch the sunset.

• Recommended must-try dishes include fresh oysters, steamed blue crab, and spicy sour soup with sea bass.

• You should book a table in advance on holidays, especially at popular restaurants.

• Choose a restaurant that extends into the river to get the best breeze and views.
