“Over 100-rai lake with iconic white curved bridge, Sunday walking street, jogging and cycling lanes, event plaza, and beautiful sunset viewpoint.”
Nong Phra Lae Public Park (Nong Phra Lae Public Park) is a major community recreation area in Laplae, Uttaradit. The lake is surrounded by landscaped walkways, jogging tracks, and shaded green spaces, making it suitable for relaxation and outdoor activities throughout the day.
The lakeside area features a 360-degree walking path and viewing bridges, offering scenic water views and a natural freshwater ecosystem where water birds and local wildlife can often be seen.
A key highlight is the Nong Phra Lae Walking Street (every Sunday evening), which transforms the lakeside into a vibrant community market filled with local Laplae food, rare regional dishes, Thai desserts, and handmade products, strongly supporting the local economy.
During festivals such as Loy Krathong, the entire park is beautifully illuminated, creating stunning reflections on the water. It is also used year-round for community activities such as running events, music performances, and public gatherings.
Nearby attractions are easily accessible, including Thung Yang Old Town, Laplae Museum, and local street art, allowing visitors to explore the cultural identity of the area in a single trip.
