Wat Phra Thaen Sila At Visiting the festival to worship Phra Thaen Sila At The tradition of making merit and paying homage to the altar stone has been around for many generations. There are people who come to worship both on and off the festival throughout the year. Buddhists believe that coming to pay respects to the altar of Sila At will receive maximum merit and the same as Phra Phutthabat Saraburi believers will strive to come and worship once in a lifetime
A little further from Wat Phra Yun, some 14 kilometres from town is Wat Phra Thaen Sila At. The major feature is the base of a sermon platform built with laterite. The square slab with pattern is believed to have been made during the Sukhothai Period. Annual celebrations are held at the three temples in February.
