Khao Khitchakut National Park is in the area of Khao Khitchakut or Khao Phat Forest, Makham District, and Khao Khitchakut Subdistrict, Chanthaburi Province. It has a rich natural scenery consisting of beautiful mountains and beautiful scenery. The highest peak is in altitude of 1, 000 meters has beautiful natural conditions, such as Bull Waterfall 100 meters away from the park office. It is a large waterfall with 13 floors, a short and steep walkway. Clear water is suitable for relaxation and clean water basins. Each floor is about 20 meters apart. There is also a geological phenomenon related to Buddhist mythology. In particular, regarding the religious belief about the footprint of the Buddha on the top of Kitchakut Mountain, it covers an area of 58.31 square kilometers or 36,444.05 rai. The park was declared a national park on May 8, 1977.
What makes Khao Khitchakut famous nationwide is the tradition of paying homage to the Buddha's Footprint on Khao Phra Bat Peak. This is considered a sacred tradition held only for a short period at the beginning of the year (approximately late January to early April). Travel to the peak requires using a four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle service from the Wat Phluang area, followed by a walk of about 1.2 kilometers. It is believed that paying homage here is akin to meeting the Lord Buddha himself, granting immense merit.

Private Car: Travel along Highway 3249 towards Khao Khitchakut District and continue straight until you reach the sign for the Khao Khitchakut National Park Headquarters, which serves as the visitor center.

Public Transport: Take a bus from Chanthaburi city to Khao Khitchakut District, and then take a hired vehicle to the National Park Headquarters.
