“A stunning beach expansion that added over 50 meters of sand, making it look like the Maldives. It’s a paradise for activity seekers and anyone looking for a breezy, spacious spot to relax without the crowds.”

Na Jomtien Beach is emerging as Chonburi’s new leading attraction after a major beach nourishment project that has completely reshaped its former image. Once a narrow shoreline with little space for walking during high tide, Na Jomtien has now transformed into a broad sandy beach measuring more than 50 meters wide and stretching continuously for several kilometers. The view is filled with soft, light-colored sand contrasting beautifully with the deep blue sea, creating a clean and well-organized coastal scenery. This transformation is not only about visual appeal; the added sand also serves as a natural protective barrier, helping to reduce coastal erosion and preserve the beach in the long term. It reflects a development approach that thoughtfully balances tourism with environmental sustainability.

Another key highlight that many may not realize is that Na Jomtien is regarded as the water sports center of the Pattaya–Sattahip coastline. With its wide, open beachfront and consistently favorable sea breezes throughout the year, the area is ideal for activities such as Windsurfing, Kite Surfing, and Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP). Visitors can prepare their equipment and access the water comfortably without congestion, making it suitable for both beginners and adventure enthusiasts. The surrounding area also offers fully equipped training schools and rental services, allowing easy access to water sports for all experience levels.

In terms of atmosphere, Na Jomtien stands out for its balanced beachfront lifestyle combining relaxation with a refined ambiance. Unlike the lively and crowded beaches in central Pattaya, this area offers a blend of beach club vibes and private leisure spaces. Stylish seaside restaurants and cafés line the shore, perfect for enjoying long meals, sipping coffee with ocean views, or watching the sunset in the evening. At the same time, small local fishing boats can still be seen along the coast, preserving the charm of traditional coastal life amid modern development. Another notable advantage is the lack of high-rise buildings, allowing sea breezes to flow freely and keeping the area noticeably cooler and more comfortable than the city beaches.

What makes the new Na Jomtien appealing to visitors of all ages is its cleanliness, order, and spacious beachfront layout. Following the beach expansion, the shoreline has been carefully organized to feel open, airy, and visually pleasing. Designated paths support jogging and cycling, while the wide sandy areas invite visitors to sit back, relax, and enjoy the sound of the waves in the evening. Na Jomtien is no longer just a tourist destination; it has become a large recreational space where people can spend quality time together—whether with friends, as couples, or with families bringing children to run freely along the expansive beach, the experience is sure to be memorable.

How to Get There
  • By Private Car: Drive along Sukhumvit Road towards Sattahip. Once you pass South Pattaya, look for Na Jomtien Sois (like Soi 2, 4, or the entrance to the Ambassador City Jomtien). Turn right and drive to the end of the soi to reach the beach road.

  • By Public Transport: Take a white songthaew (Pattaya–Sattahip route) and get off at the Na Jomtien entrance, then take a motorcycle taxi to the beach.

Travel Tips
  • Best Time to Visit: From 4:00 PM onwards. The sun starts to cool down, the breeze is refreshing, and you’ll catch the most beautiful "Golden Hour" on the wide sands.

  • For Activity Seekers: If you want to try SUP Boarding, come just before sunset. The water is calm, and your photos with the sunset backdrop will be stunning.

  • Preparation: Bring your own picnic mat or beach chair. Since the beach is so wide, you can easily pick your own "prime spot" by the water.
