The main express boat companies providing service are Lomprayah Speedboat and Seatran Discovery, which have routes connecting to Koh Tao, Koh Nang Yuan, Koh Phangan, and Koh Samui.
The pier area has full facilities, including passenger terminals, restaurants, shops, and ticket counters. There is also a shuttle bus service connecting Chumphon city or Chumphon railway station to the main piers, providing convenience for tourists.
Another popular option is the Sleeping Boat service from the old Pak Nam Chumphon Pier to Koh Tao, which is suitable for travelers who want to save time and costs, allowing passengers to sleep onboard and arrive at the island in the morning.
How to Get There
- Private car: From Chumphon city, drive along Highway 4119 (Chumphon–Pak Nam route) toward Pak Nam Chumphon.
- Public transport: Take the Chumphon–Pak Nam Chumphon songthaew from the city,
get off at Pak Nam community, and then take a motorbike taxi to reach the pier.
