“Iconic spot of Waterford”
One of the iconic spot of Waterford city, Clock Tower dates back to 1863. The tower displays classic Gothic revival style with its freestanding single-bay style. This limestone structure is a local landmark and stands out in the backdrop of quays and streets.
Designed by Tarrant, the diamond panels with detailing are worth observing. Retaining much of its yesteryear charm, the clock tower is a great place to visit on evenings. The petite water fountain set right on its side is another striking feature of the clock tower.
Although you can’t enter the clock tower to admire its interiors, this is a nice building to visit even from the outside!
