“One of Ireland’s oldest universities, located in the heart of Dublin. Famous for its historic library and the world-renowned Book of Kells.”

Trinity College Dublin, established during the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, is a landmark of academic excellence and historical significance. As part of the University of Dublin, the college campus features stunning Georgian architecture surrounding a spacious central square. The atmosphere is both serene and intellectually vibrant, representing over four centuries of scholarly tradition.

The main highlight is the Long Room Library, built in the 18th century. This iconic hall is known for its grand vaulted ceiling, tall wooden bookshelves, and marble busts of famous philosophers and scientists. The library holds over 200,000 old books and manuscripts, including the famed Book of Kells, a masterpiece of medieval illumination containing the four Gospels in Latin.

Visitors can explore the campus freely or join guided tours. The site appeals not only to history buffs and architecture lovers but also to students aspiring to study at one of Europe’s top-ranked universities.

How to Get There
