Street Art Roi Et is an outdoor art project based on the concept of creative urban development. It transforms the previously plain and quiet concrete walls along the Ku Muang Canal into a vibrant open-air art gallery, allowing people to walk through and enjoy artworks while experiencing the atmosphere of Roi Et city.The area originated from the “Roi Et Graffiti Project,” which aims to integrate street art into the city. It provides opportunities for more than 50 artists from various backgrounds to create works along the long canal-side wall. Each artwork is independently designed while still reflecting the identity of Roi Et province.

Inside this street art area, visitors can find a wide variety of artistic styles, including Pop Art with bright colors and modern cartoon characters, Realism depicting Isan life such as rice fields, farmers, and local markets, as well as Abstract and Graffiti Typography that emphasize creative lines and lettering. There are also artworks reflecting local identity, such as the “Khaen” musical instrument, Naga beliefs, and reinterpretations of community life.The walking route can be divided into several zones. The entrance zone features colorful and accessible artworks ideal for starting the visit. The middle zone showcases large murals that tell stories of Isan culture and lifestyle. The final zone presents more experimental and abstract works with a different artistic mood.

Popular photo spots include bold graffiti lettering walls ideal for portrait photography, large Naga murals reflecting local beliefs, and colorful Pop Art zones. There are also canal-side viewpoints where visitors can capture a combination of artwork, water, and urban scenery.The best time to visit is in the late afternoon, around 16:00–18:30, when the natural light enhances photography and the weather is cooler. Visitors can also continue to nearby attractions such as Bueng Phalan Chai and the Roi Et Tower, which are within a short distance from the area.
