“Experience a unique and peaceful escape surrounded by a thriving mangrove forest, offering privacy and fresh natural air.”
Mangrove Beach is a hidden gem on Koh Yao Noi, offering a travel experience that is both meaningful and different from typical beach destinations. While many beaches are known for white sand and vibrant activities, this place stands out through the richness of its mangrove ecosystem, which remains beautifully preserved
The most captivating feature is the presence of large mangrove trees extending their roots gracefully into the water, forming unique natural sculptures full of life and character.
Another highlight is the deep sense of tranquility, where only the sounds of birds and gentle waves can be heard. During high tide, seawater flows into the mangrove forest, creating stunning reflections of greenery on the calm, mirror-like surface. The atmosphere is filled with freshness, making it ideal for relaxation, mental reset, or exploring the rich biodiversity hidden within the roots and muddy shoreline—home to many juvenile marine species.
The simplicity and untouched nature of this place are what make it truly special. The surrounding area reflects a harmonious relationship between the local community and natural resources. Lush mangrove forests and coconut plantations enhance the feeling of seclusion and privacy.
A visit here is not just about enjoying the sea—it’s about embracing a slower pace of life and appreciating the importance of natural ecosystems. It offers a rare opportunity to reconnect with nature and experience peaceful moments along the Andaman coastline.
How to Get There
- Travel to the pier: You can reach Koh Yao Noi from three main provinces—Phuket (Bang Rong Pier), Phang Nga (Suan Luang Pier / Phang Nga Customs Pier), or Krabi (Tha Len Pier)—by speedboat or local wooden boat, arriving at Manoh Pier, the island’s main pier.
- Getting around on the island: From Manoh Pier, you can rent a motorbike or take a local shared taxi (songthaew) heading to the eastern side of the island.
