“A secret viewpoint at the end of Koh Mak. Quiet atmosphere, panoramic sea views, ideal for photographers and sunset viewing.”
Laem Kradun (Cape Kradun) is a natural viewpoint located at the tip of a cape on Koh Mak, Trat Province. The terrain is a rocky cape that juts out into the sea, allowing for a wide 180-degree view of the sea without any buildings obstructing the view.
The surrounding area is still relatively natural, with rocks, coastal trees, and open sea, creating a peaceful and quiet atmosphere that differs from the main beaches of Koh Mak, which have resorts. This spot is therefore suitable for tourists who want a quiet place to relax or photographers looking for a clear sea view.
The highlight of Laem Kradun is the sea view where you can see small islands nearby, such as Ko Rayang Nok (Ko Rayang Nok) and other islands in the Trat Sea, especially in the evening when the sun gradually falls towards the horizon, creating a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere, perfect for sitting and watching the view or taking sunset photos.
Access to Laem Kradun is still very natural. It requires a short walk from the parking spot, resulting in fewer tourists compared to other spots on Koh Mak, making this place a "hidden spot" for those who want to experience nature seriously.
In addition, during low tide, you can clearly see the rocks and seabed along the coast, making it suitable for nature walks or taking unusual photos. During high tide, the waves crash against the rocks, creating beautiful images of waves crashing against the rocks, but it is not suitable for swimming.
Overall, Laem Kradun is considered one of the most "raw, quiet, and natural" viewpoints on Koh Mak (Ko Mak), suitable for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle and experience the charm of the Trat Sea in a more peaceful and private way.
