The laterite prang at Wat Nikrot is a significant ruin showcasing Lopburi and Khmer artistic influences. Currently, only the base and structural remains of the sturdy laterite blocks are visible to visitors. It is assumed that these were originally aligned towers used for important religious ceremonies in ancient times. The fallen laterite pieces were later repurposed to build the Chao Pho Thep Shrine located nearby. This site serves as a historical learning resource reflecting ancient construction techniques and materials.
