Nikrot Temple

Nikrot Temple, also known as the "Banyan Tree Temple," is an ancient historical site located near Wat Tong Pu. It features ruins of laterite prangs and artifacts showcasing Lopburi art with a strong Khmer influence. The temple houses the sacred Chao Pho Thep Shrine, which was constructed using laterite blocks salvaged from the original ruins. Although now abandoned, it remains a revered spiritual site and a vital resource for studying local history.
