The Phra Phuttha Nirarokantraya Chaiwat Chaturathit Pavilion

The Phra Phuttha Nirarokantraya Chaiwat Chaturathit Pavilion (Wat Sala Daeng) is an elegant four-porched structure featuring tiered Thai-style roofs covered in dark tiles and meticulously adorned with traditional Chofa and Bai Raka finials, reflecting valuable Thai architectural heritage. The building sits on a raised base with entrance staircases on all four sides, symbolizing the spreading of loving-kindness and protection to citizens in every direction according to the "Buddha of the Four Corners" belief. The interior is simply yet solemnly decorated, with the Buddha image enshrined centrally in a quiet and well-ventilated atmosphere, allowing devotees to meditate and closely appreciate the beauty of the Sukhothai-style meditation Buddha image in a peaceful state of mind.
