The new ordination hall

The new ordination hall (Ubosot) of Wat Sala Daeng was built to accommodate the growing number of devotees, featuring contemporary Thai architecture adorned with exquisite stucco work and a grand Chofa raising ceremony presided over by the late Somdej Phra Budhhacarya (Kiao Upaseno), former abbot of Wat Saket. The building is designed to be spacious and brightly lit, surrounded by lush greenery and ponds that create a cool, tranquil atmosphere perfect for major religious ceremonies and candlelight processions on Buddhist holidays. Inside, it houses a principal Buddha image that serves as a spiritual anchor for the people of Saraburi, complemented by modern facilities to serve visitors and practitioners who come to make merit today.
