“Witness the grandeur of the waterfall with a height of over 260 meters, flowing down through wide cliff layers amidst a lush forest.”

Mae Ya Waterfall is one of the largest and most beautiful waterfalls in Thailand. It is located in the southern part of Doi Inthanon National Park. This waterfall originates from Mae Ya Creek, which flows down from a steep cliff with a total height_ of approximately 260 meters. The waterfall is very wide and flows down in steps over more than 30 tiers of stacked rocks. This creates a view of white water spreading across the massive stone cliff, surrounded by a green hill evergreen forest all year round.

Important as a natural tourism landmark and a symbol of Chom Thong District. In the past, this waterfall was a popular relaxation spot and a major destination for travelers visiting Doi Inthanon. The geology of Mae Ya Waterfall is interesting because it is a large granite cliff that has been eroded by water for a long time. This resulted in beautiful and stable rock layers. The area around the waterfall is also home to rare plants and various species of birds.

A place where people like to travel to pray for peace and life energy. This is because they believe the strong and continuous flow of water represents abundance and continuous good fortune. Most tourists enjoy sitting by the stream below to feel the cool water mist and listen to the sound of the waterfall, which helps create concentration and peace. Since the waterfall is very wide, the surrounding area still feels spacious and not crowded, even when there are many tourists.

Mae Ya Waterfall is a paradise for photographers who want to capture smooth water images (Long Exposure). The tiered stone layers help break the water into beautiful, multi-dimensional white ribbons. Taking wide-angle photos helps emphasize the greatness of the waterfall compared to the size of a person. For travelers who like tranquility, this waterfall is a perfect relaxation spot because it is located away from the main road leading to the summit of Doi Inthanon. This means there is no noise from vehicles, allowing visitors to fully absorb nature.

We invite everyone to experience the greatness of nature's power and the roar of the water, which is one of the most beautiful in Asia, here at Mae Ya Waterfall.
