This waterfall originates from Mae Ya Creek, which flows down from a steep cliff with a total height_ of approximately 260 meters. The waterfall is very wide and flows down in steps over more than 30 tiers of stacked rocks. • Private Car: From Chiang Mai city, use Highway 108 towards Chom Thong. Then turn right into Highway 1009 and follow the signs to Mae Ya Waterfall (the junction is before going up Doi Inthanon).

• Public Transport: You can charter a "Yellow Truck" (Songthaew) from the Chom Thong bus station to tour around the waterfall.

• Best Time: Can be visited all year round, but during October to December, the water is the clearest and most beautiful.

• Dress Code: Wear shoes with good grip because the area around the waterfall can be slippery.

• Photography: Recommended to arrive in the morning so the light hits the waterfall cliff beautifully.

• Caution: Strictly follow park rules. Do not litter and do not swim in dangerous spots.
