“It is the largest site to view Wild Himalayan Cherry blossoms in Thailand, covering over 1,000 rai. During mid-winter (January–February), the mountains are dyed in vibrant pink. It offers breathtaking views of layered mountain ranges and cool weather throughout the festival period. Visitors must use community tour vehicles to ascend and descend this steep mountain.”

Phu Lom Lo is located in Kok Sathon Subdistrict, Dan Sai District, Loei Province, within Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park. The mountain sits on the border of three provinces: Phitsanulok, Phetchabun, and Loei, making it accessible from multiple routes.

Phu Lom Lo has been nicknamed "Thailand’s Sakura" as it is home to the largest plantation of Wild Himalayan Cherry trees in the country, covering over 1,000 rai.

The terrain is mountainous with several peaks running from northeast to southwest. Most of the area is covered with evergreen and pine forests, which serve as habitats for various wildlife. Phu Lom Lo is also part of a forest restoration project.

The Wild Himalayan Cherry (Prunus cerasoides) is a small deciduous tree. Flowers grow in clusters near the tips of branches, each with 5 petals, ranging in white, pink, or red. They typically bloom from December to February, before the leaves appear, creating a stunning pink blanket across the mountain.

During mid-winter (January–February), Phu Lom Lo becomes a popular destination for visitors, with blossoms covering the entire mountain, especially at the "Phu Lom Lo Field" and the "Cow Corral," which are popular photo spots.

Besides the cherry blossoms, Phu Lom Lo has several scenic viewpoints, including the main viewpoint overlooking Phu Hin Rong Kla’s mountain ranges and the "Cow Corral" viewpoint.
